STAGETEXT is a charity which provides access to the theatre for
deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people through captions..
Captions are similar to television subtitles; the actors’ words
appear on an LED unit at the same time as they are spoken or sung.
Speaker names, sound effect and offstage noises are also shown
CERS
offers back-up support to unpaid carers if an emergency
prevents them from providing the care they usually give to a vulnerable
person who could not manage without their help. It is a FREE service and
