|Birmingham & District Tinnitus Group offers many levels of support, from literature, daytime and evening monthly support sessions, as well as a team of Friendly Voices. The support sessions usually have between six and twelve people present, and they can be at various stages of coping with their tinnitus. Some people are happy to talk, whilst others prefer to sit and listen; you do what you are comfortable with. You do not need to be a member to attend, but being a member of the group can give you that extra support that you may need in the early stages, and it does make our voice louder in asking for more research into better treatment of this condition. From time to time we invite speakers to address the meetings and details will be on the website.|
Daytime Support Sessions:

each month from 10.30 am to 12 noon at the offices of

Irwin Mitchell are on Temple Street opposite the TSB
Evening Support Sessions are held on the first Thursday of each month (apart from January) from 7.30 to 9 pm at Owen House, The Zion Christian Centre, Little Cornbow, Halesowen, B63 3AJ
These Support Sessions are informal and you are welcome to come along with a friend or family member. We try to have at least two committee members on hand to answer any queries as best they can. They are all tinnitus sufferers but have no medical qualifications, only experience!
You are also welcome to contact any of our committee between
meetings if you have any questions, points to raise, or simply want
to discuss ways of coping with tinnitus.
We also have various self-help papers, including a series of six
papers written by our own Eileen Hewitson giving a complete course
on relaxation. Each paper is in pdf format which you can save and print, to keep or share information.
We hope these papers help. You can view them by clicking the link
