Birmingham & District Tinnitus Group - SupportGeneral MeetingsWe hold meetings from time to time which will usually include a top-level speaker to keep members informed. However many of our members are unable to attend and we always report the meetings fully in our newsletter. Daytime Support SessionsWe understand the difficulties that some people have in travelling to evening venues especially in winter. With this in mind we run monthly support sessions on a Tuesday morning at Carrs Lane Church Centre in the centre of Birmingham (opposite the back entrance of Marks & Spencers). The directions and dates for these support session at Carrs Lane are given below. These are small, informal sessions when two of our members will be on hand to offer support, information and advice to anyone with tinnitus. Family and friends are welcome. "Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood." Marie Curie Buses:Many buses into the city stop in Moor St. Queensway - ask for Moor St. Station. Others terminate in Corporation St.; you then walk down Bull St. or Union St.New Street Station:On reaching the concourse, leave by the main entrance at that level, veer left through the car park and take the footpath towards the Bullring Shopping Centre, passing the Rotunda and Marks & Spencer on your left. Follow any signs to Moor St. Station, but stay on the other side of the road, to Carrs Lane.Digbeth Coach Station (for National Express):Turn left out of the coach station and after a short distance cross the main road (Digbeth) turning left towards the city centre. Follow the footpath round, passing opposite Selfridges (with the silver disks) and up the hill beside Moor Street Station. At its entrance, continue as below.Moor Street Station:On coming out of either entrance, look across the road and a bit to the right, for the dark purple brick Church Centre with the tall cross in front.
